Se presenta un breve recorrido histórico que analiza como el sueño ha sido utilizado por los artistas desde el Renacimiento hasta el arte contemporáneo. Además, se explora el sueño desde el campo del psicoanálisis con la perspectiva de Sigmund Freud, se estudia la relación entre los sueños y la creatividad, el concepto de instalación artística y se analiza una obra de la artista Chiharu Shiota. Finalmente se establece un diálogo entre la teoría y la práctica al presentar el proceso de creación de una instalación artística. A través de este enfoque la investigación busca ofrecer una nueva perspectiva sobre el encuentro entre la experiencia onírica y la creación artística.This thesis explores the oniric experience as a valuable source for artistic creation, considering dreams as an essential tool in producing works of art. A brief historical overview analyzes how artists have used dreams from the Renaissance to contemporary art. Additionally, dreams are explored from the field of psychoanalysis with the perspective of Sigmund Freud, the relationship between dreams and creativity is studied, the concept of artistic installation is examined, and a work by the artist Chiharu Shiota is analyzed. Finally, a dialogue is established between theory and practice by presenting the art installation process.
