| Итог: | Autism is a complicated and massive disorder that occurs in premature ages, where the main problems are located in the deficiency of affection, interaction, contact, distancing and decreased expression. The behavior of autistic children causes complications in social relationships, for which children are excluded from different social circles, these behaviors block the knowledge of behaviors that are caused by clinical symptoms such as the repetition of words, rituals and obsessive behaviors. Animal-assisted therapy is complementary which aims to acquire additional benefits to a pharmacological treatment, it is very important to carry out this type of therapy with children with autism since the animal is a sociable being, therefore, it becomes a mediator for interpersonal communication, contributing to respect for rules and aggressive behaviors. There are studies that suggest that animal-assisted therapy is accompanied by positive results in autistic children so that it develops in the therapeutic field where the accompaniment of an animal stimulates communication skills in order to obtain a connection with the world that surrounds the child. The objective of this research is the scientific information available in the database regarding animal-assisted therapy in children with autism to determine its efficiency in social participation, so that a bibliographic review is carried out considering the insertion of the articles that meet the inclusion and exclusion guidelines. Thanks to research, we can conclude that animal-assisted therapy in autistic children increases social skills, positive feelings, language and communication skills, and motor skills. |
