Esto depende de la relación entre el slot del bracket y los arcos de ortodoncia. Objetivo: Comparar el ángulo de juego que se produce entre la ranura 0.022” de los brackets de cada una de las marcas comerciales con arcos 0.019” x 0.025” a través de un estudio in vitro. Metodología: Estudio in vitro, contará con una muestra de 150 brackets conformada por 5 grupos. Cada grupo de 30 brackets de las siguientes marcas comerciales respectivamente (Forestadent, 3M, Orthometric, Morelli y Azdent Bracket) y arcos de 0.019” x 0.025” de acero de las respectivas marcas comerciales. Se utilizarán de cada marca comercial 10 brackets de incisivos centrales superiores derechos, 10 de caninos superiores derechos y 10 primeros premolares superiores derechos, tomados por un muestreo por conveniencia considerando criterios de (Tepedino, M. 2020). Se realizarán medidas angulares del juego existente entre la ranura de los brackets y los arcos a partir de imágenes obtenidas utilizando el estereomicroscopio binocular Olympus SZX7 y utilizando el programa J Image previo calibración. Los datos serán registrados en una hoja de cálculo de Excel y se utilizará el paquete estadístico SPSS V26. Previo análisis de normalidad se realizarán análisis de Kruskal Wallis o ANOVA con POST HOC con un nivel de significancia del 0.05%. Resultados: R1: Existen diferencias significativas entre el ángulo de juego medido en los brackets de las diferentes marcas. R2: El juego asociado al tip de los brackets varía significativamente entre los diferentes brackets, siendo el canino de 3M con 1.9° el menor y el premolar superior derecho de Orthometric el mayor con 4°. R3: En relación con el torque, el incisivo central de Morelli con 9.4° es el menor y el premolar superior derecho de Azdent es el que mayor juego presenta con 24.3°. Conclusiones: Este estudio comparativo revela variaciones significativas en el ángulo de juego entre las ranuras de brackets de distintas marcas comerciales, así como entre las diferentes piezas dentales cuando se utilizan con arcos de acero de dimensiones 0.019" x 0.025".Introduction: Over the years, multiple bracket prescriptions have been proposed to ensure that the position of the teeth at the end of orthodontic treatment is as adequate and functional as possible. This depends on the relationship between the bracket slot and the orthodontic arches. Objective: To compare the angle of clearance that occurs between the 0.022" slot of each of the commercial brand brackets with 0.019" x 0.025" arches through an in vitro study. Methodology: In vitro study, with a sample of 150 brackets in 5 groups. Each group of 30 brackets of the following commercial brands (Forestadent, 3M, Orthometric, Morelli and Azdent Bracket) and 0.019" x 0.025" steel archwires. Angular measurements of the clearance between the bracket slot and the archwires will be taken from images obtained using the Olympus SZX7 binocular stereomicroscope and using the J Image program after calibration. Data will be recorded in an Excel spreadsheet and the SPSS V26 statistical package will be used. Prior to normality analysis, Kruskal Wallis or ANOVA analyses with POST HOC will be performed with a significance level of 0.05%. Results: R1: There are significant differences between the angle of clearance measured in brackets of different brands. R2: The clearance associated with the bracket tip varies significantly among the different brackets, with the 3M canine being the smallest at 1.9° and the Orthometric upper right premolar being the largest at 4°. R3: Regarding torque, the central incisor of Morelli is the smallest with 9.4° and the right upper premolar of Azdent is the one with the highest clearance with 24.3°.
