La precarización que mantienen las viviendas, someten a los moradores a una condición poco favorable para su salud y desarrollo, anulando un sentimiento de pertenencia del lugar, la informalidad de estas viviendas traen consigo: incomodidad e inconformidad, actualmente no se cuenta con espacios apropiados para la recreación, tanto en vivienda, como a una escala barrial, se encuentra carente de lugares de esparcimiento, lugares donde se genere una vida comunitaria, por lo que es objetivo de este trabajo presentar una propuesta de vivienda de carácter social, que mantenga la densidad existente en el sector, para lo que se ha identificado cuales eran las viviendas con mayor condición de informalidad, y en su lugar se ha planteado una propuesta que genere espacios dignos y que represente mejores condiciones para habitar y vivir el barrio.This current final project is developed in the Santa Rita neighborhood, located in the south of the city of Quito, a neighborhood in which a spatial and architectural problem that affects housing has been identified.
