Περίληψη:The motor deficit is the dysfunction of the locomotor system that decreases physical abilities such as flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and endurance, in addition to the loss of body awareness. The objective of this work was to determine the benefits of Hatha Yoga and Neuroeducation of movement in the elderly who participate in the program "ACTIVE AGING" of the Basic Hospital of Durán. The study is of quantitative approach, of explanatory scope, with an experimental design of pre-experimental type. The population was 60 elderly, 30 were taken as a sample according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria; among which the highest percentage was that of women with 27% and aggravating health in its highest range accidents and falls 53%. For the study, the initial Barthel test was applied: women 77%, men 7% independent, final: women 83%, men 10% in independence; Global Deterioration scale (GDS) of Reisberg initial GDS2: men7%, women 50%, final: 3%, women 20%; Berg scale, initial: men 3%, women 57%, final: men 0%, women 30% high risk of falling; Torrance test, minimum initial: 7% men, 30% women, maximum end: male 13%, female 67%.
