Streszczenie:The present work addresses the causes of faults due to the effects of harmonics, that domestic and industrial loads are increasingly electronic circuits that are fed by current that is not pure sinusoidal, where the main objective is an operational context to minimize the damage That presents the harmonics in the induction motors. Thus, for example, the motors use more and more the regulation of the frequency, which requires a passage of alternating current to direct current (rectifiers, inverters, etc.) and even to perform CC-CA transformations. The methodology applied in this work corresponds to the descriptive by studying the harmonics, and the techniques and techniques for the solution of them, the field method and the analytical method in regard to the lifting of information in rotating machines of a typical industry, it is possible to determine causes or failures to locate the non-linear loads in a single-line plane, to plant solutions such as placing ballasts, screened cables and that the motors consist of their corresponding ceramic bearings, which have the consequence of harmonics in the engines and prolonging the useful life of the rotary machines.
