Sumario:The first chapter explains the motivation to develop the musical production. There are also presented objectives that served as a guide in the development of activities. Likewise, the band and their musical proposal that went through the process to generate the final product will be presented. The research presented in the second chapter will explain the lyrical and instrumental elements of the rap and reggae genres. Reggae, originally from Jamaica, makes use of rhythmic techniques in upbeat and specific sound characteristics. The rap emerged with little instrumentation and uses alterations of accents in the voice to generate rhythm that is supported by music but is not restricted to it. The reference, "Mi Tierra" of Sudakaya, was studied in terms of instrumental density, processing, and handling of sound planes to allow applying the most coherent techniques to the theme "Sin Pedir Perdón” in the mixing process. The development chapter is divided into three sub-chapters pre-production, production, and post-production. In preproduction, everything related to the preparation of the recording including changes in the work team will be addressed. The production covers the final recording of the song, instruments and recording techniques. Postproduction explains the techniques carried out in the mixing process and the intention behind them. The resources chapter indicates the instruments used in the recording and its main characteristics. This chapter will also show the configurations of the different processors used. The following chapters are intended for the discussion of conclusions and recommendations. Finally, the references and a glossary of usefulness for the study of this document are exposed.
