Ychwanegu Tag | Crynodeb: | The present of the object essay is to analyze the impact produced by the duty politics applied by the Ecuadorian government on the importation of cell phones, parts and accessories, during 2008-2009. With this purpose, an analytic investigation was developed, which used secondary techniques of investigation; wherewith, the duty barriers implemented during the mentioned period of time were determined; and, the importation flow of those goods were compared since 2003 until 2009, in FOB values as well as in quantity values of importation. Once the pertinent investigation and analysis were concluded, it was proved that, regardless conjunctural aspects, the safeguard applied caused a dramatic reduction over the importation flow of cell phones, parts and accessories and an increment over the smuggling of the mentioned products, . |
