The acoustic drums are a completely new instrument with 200 years old, while electric drums has around for 36 years old, that is why their exploitation has not yet been achieved, unlike the violin that has around 5 centuries of existence. Nowadays, we live in a world where technology has sped up and evolving every day. This guide is designed to determine the advantages, disadvantages, characteristics and operations that can be obtained through the use of a hybrid drums. The main reference is the musician Charly Alberti, he played the drums in Soda Stereo band, because he was one of the pioneers in fusing an acoustic set with an electric set at the beginning of the eighties in Latin America. It has taken as reference the album "Signos", third study material of the Argentine band recorded in 1986, since in this work it was possible to combine acoustic and electronic sounds to adapt to the songs. This analysis, it will be possible to grant a clear, concise and detailed management criterion of the operation of this hybrid set and how was the evolution of musical technology in the eighties. This work will compile information to create a theoretical framework, where it is known how the acoustic drum arose, later the evolution and the use of technology in the eighties will be investigated and finally the artistic contribution that Charly Alberti made in Latin American. Through this research you can conclude the advantages and disadvantages of using a hybrid set. |
