Summary:The main objective of this project is to make a proposal for the creation of an adventure tourism product in the Pifo parish, located in the northeastern of the Metropolitan District of Quito, Ecuador. This proposal seeks to create an adventure tourism product that changes the current visualization that national and foreign tourists have about the tourism activities that the parish currently has and offers; In addition, this project seeks to contribute in a general manner and in all possible areas to the creator of the project, to public and private entities and to the inhabitants involved. The analysis of several important points, its geographical location, economic and socio-cultural characteristics, the infrastructure it possesses along with mobility and connectivity and the identification of its local actors will allow a clearer picture of the situational characterization of the territory. It is thus, that knowing its current offer, its demand and its super structure will give way to the diagnosis of the problematic fundamental tool for the development of this project and to define the profile of the tourist. On the other hand, this will allow the project proposal to be developed, to know its useful life, to elaborate objectives, goals and various activities through results indicators, in addition a timetable and budget will be developed. Finally, after the analysis and development of the aforementioned points, the implementation strategy will be executed through the tourism product that is to be created for the Pifo parish. This will meet the needs and requirements of tourists through the identification of environmental impact, information on financing, monitoring and evaluation.
