| 總結: | The present work is carried out with the objective of determining the effect of the presentation of the food: ground or pelleting, on the Efficiency Index (EI) in the production of quails japónicas (Coturnixcoturnix japonica).For the experimental study formed two groups: A and B, each one with two hundred copies. The quails were subject to the same conditions upbringing, the only difference was established in the presentation of the food; in group A was used the food ground and in group B the pelletization. In each of the groups was determined: the viability (V %) and consumption of food weekly and total (Ca). The percentage of viability was 93% in group A and 91% in the B. With regard to the consumption of food is noted that is greater in group A compared with the consumption of group B In a random sample of twenty birds per batch, recorded the weight (P), weight gain weekly (GP) and accumulated. Applied the Student t test for independent samples, bilateral with α=0.05. The result determined that there are significant differences in the final weight and the weight gain between the two groups. To calculate the ratio between the IE of the two groups is obtained R ≠ 1, which rejects the null hypothesis and accept the alternative, i.e. if there is a difference between these indexes.
