| Gaia: | The present study combines a review of the incidence and evolution of ICT in education, a general observation of the educational and technological spaces applied to the learning management systems LMS of the best universities in the world according to a ranking selected, as well as a specific analysis in universities and polytechnic schools in Ecuador. The research advances recognizing around the LMS innovations used in the educational, technological and institutional fields. Based on the TRIZ innovation methodology, a model is proposed to incorporate technological innovation in the LMS of the universities, established in three phases; evaluation of the LMS, analysis and proposal of innovation, and application of the pilot test. The execution of the model can be welcomed by several university institutions that intend to identify and exploit the technological part of the LMS aligned with the educational and institutional components. |
