Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | The present titulation project was carried out in order to improve the management of urban solid waste generated by tourist activities in La Plaza "El Quinde" and its influence area, being one of the most visited tourist attraction sites in the city of Quito. During the analysis of the current management of urban solid waste, it was found that in La Plaza "El Quinde" and its influence area, as in the city of Quito, there is no urban solid waste classification system, therefore, it is not performed an adequate treatment for each type of waste generated by tourist activities. On the other hand, it was found that there is no correct application of the existing public policy in terms of solid waste management, there is no control over compliance and there is no sanction for non-compliance. Finally, a strategic proposal was made that includes the actors involved in the management of urban solid waste generated by tourist activities in La Plaza "El Quinde" and its area of influence; in which it is mainly proposed to reduce the amount of urban solid waste of a non-reusable or non-recyclable character that tourist activities generate daily. |
