Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The present degree work seeks to publicize of the main curricular axes of study that define the learning results at initial, middle and final level of the Telecommunications Engineering career at the Universidad de Las Américas, for this purpose Beacons devices were used, same that emit a unique signal through the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol, the signal is received with a Smartphone where a mobile application developed with the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) of Android Studio was previously installed. The purpose of the application is to automatically generate a notification when the user's mobile device is in the range of coverage of a Beacon, and in this way linking to the website where the main curricular contents, videos of importance and forms have been collected for each integrative class, this site was developed in a free Content Management System (CMS) and is shown within the mobile app available for Smartphone with Android operating system. Finally, during the prototype testing stage it was possible to demonstrate that this project facilitates the learning process in students, thus confirming that educationoriented Beacons promote IoT in an educational center. |
