要約:This research paper analyzes Konstantin Stanislavski’s famous emotional memory method. The main objective is to experiment with this technique in film and theater actors, thus demonstrating possible improvements in their acting ability. For this, a suspense short film called Ella & Yo (Vargas, 2019) was made, in which several of these Stanislavski methods were applied in three actors, two film actors and a theater actress. These actors were prepared for five days before the three days of filming. The results show that two of the actors meet the expectations of the method through the screen. However, in the case of the theater actress, said method does not show the desired results, a phenomenon which will be further explained. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of emotional memory in film actors has a positive influence on the development of their abilities, but with theater actors, there is more difficulty in truthfully embodying a character in front of the cameras.
