Nueva sede o extensión del museo de ciencias naturales del Instituto Nacional de Biodiversidad

The present work proposes a project of redesign of interior spaces for the new headquarters of the Museum of Natural Sciences in the house González Rivadeneira, located in the Historical Center of Quito in the streets Rocafuerte Oe313 and Guayaquil, diagonal to the Place of Santo Domingo One block from La Ronda. For this purpose, it is proposed to design the venue with ample and functional spaces that manage to exhibit all the scientific collections. The purpose of this project arises from the lack of space in the current Museum of Sciences of the National Institute of Biodiversity and the need to improve the facilities that guard the most important scientific collections of Ecuador. This work aims to provide an expectation for the future with the active participation of the public through the transmission of knowledge in an effective and immediate way, a didactic and creative space for communication and learning in the natural sciences, a museum where people can attend of all ages.
