| Summary: | The following work focuses on studying how young people aged 16 to 27 years were affected by the implementation of the Constitution of Montecristi in 2008 and the TIC revolution, transforming them into new voters of Ecuador. Furthermore, it analyzes their relationship and identification with the political system, citizenship and political institutions. This is followed by a brief historical review of the logics with regard to participation within the national political landscape, underpinned by the analysis of collected data stemming from quantitative research. |
