Yhteenveto:The focus in environmental care, which involves the responsible use of energy, has decreased. The interest of producers is caused in more efficient energy media, although it is less scrupulous for natural protection and ending in disasters of different extent, mostly of unfortunate consequences. Due to this problem, the creation of a graphic novel based on the accident of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is proposed and it deals with the humanitarian disaster that involves the affected population and the social drama lasting until now as a consequence of the catastrophe. In order to underlie realization of the product, we previously investigated the work of illustrators addressing narratively similar subjects and taking them as references of style, line, color, shapes, etc. In pursuit of the best way to reflect the story and to communicate the established message. As a result, the target audience includes young people or teenagers, an attractive stylization is sought, as well as an enveloping narrative provoking the necessary interest for the dissemination of the final product. In conclusion, it is necessary to establish alternatives to enter the theme on important issues such as this one, in a closer and personal way, putting human disaster in the forefront in order to evoke the immediate reaction on the most impressionable social sector and more caring of the environment, young people.
