Objective: To evaluate in vitro the tensile strength of two adhesive cements using glass fiber bolts to improve the strength of the piece in practice Materials and methods: An experimental, cross-sectional and comparative in vitro study was carried out, using 40 unirradicular premolars, Angelus fiberglass bolts, Ketac Cem Easy mix conventional cement and Relyx U 200.SE self adhesive. They were divided into two groups A and B, each of 20 pieces in which the two types of cement were used. A thermocycling machine was used to produce 1 year of dental aging and then they were subjected to traction with the Universal Test machine. Results: the self-adhesive cement RELYX U200 obtained a value of 180.42 [N] and the conventional cement KETAC CEM a value of 48.13 [N]. The value by which the loads applied to the RELYX U 200 and KETAC CEM cements is 132.29. Conclusions: Self-adhesive cement type Relyx U 200 shows higher tensile strength to conventional cement type Ketac Cem Easy Mix. |
