| סיכום: | National Red Cross Societies supply the main needs of society in emergencies and humanitarian aid at the local level, through humanitarian action projects and programs. To achieve this goal these organizations must be as efficient as possible; if they are not, they will incur a negative or incomplete social impact. For the first time, the DEA method with BCC model and an output orientation will be used to analyze the four largest National Red Cross Societies in institutional presence in South and Central America, which have operational headquarters in Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica and El Salvador; in order to create an efficiency ranking of these organizations in the period of 2013-2017. The results show that while the Argentine Red Cross is the most efficient, the Costa Rican Red Cross is the least efficient of the period. Key words: efficiency, DEA, input, output, National Society, Red Cross, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, classic realism. |
