Sažetak: | The number of people who dedicate their time and money to the care and welfare of their pet is increasing, in this sense the creation of a medical accident insurance for pets in the city of Quito is considered. To carry out this business idea, an analysis was made of the external situation of the sector, identifying the opportunities and threats that could affect the future business through the analysis of environments and Porter industry, in both cases an environment and factors are evident favorable for the generation of the new enterprise. As a marketing strategy, the business uses the strategy of approach combined with the differentiation that allows it to achieve greater results to a part of the market that shares similar characteristics such as love and care for their pets, the activities of the marketing mix are framed in publicize the service and attract the largest number of pet health insurance affiliates, the distribution channel chosen is direct, and the insurance will be promoted with the support of petshops, veterinary clinics and insurers of the city of Quito. The organizational structure of the company is hierarchical distributed among 4 people at the beginning, while from year 4 it is expected to increase an assistant and a commercial advisor in order to support the business increase of the business, based on processes framed in generating a competitive advantage through the value chain. The investment necessary to carry out the project is $ 56,362.84, which is financed in 70% by shareholders' equity, with a value of $ 39,453.99 and 30% $ 16,908.25 through a loan with Banco Pichincha. In the financial aspect, the business model determines an economic viability from year 2 that increases until year 5, generating positive cash flows, the financial evaluation is favorable since it shows a NPV for the investor of $ 1,119, a IRR of 14.50% and an investment recovery period of 3.11 years. |
