Crynodeb:Bruxism is a parafunctional activity, known as tooth squeezing and grinding, occurs in people of any age, and both sexes. It is considered a disease of multifactorial origin, which has as its main etiological factor the stress. This oral disorder causes great damage to the stomatological system. The objective of this study was to define the association of academic stress in the presence of bruxism in students who attend clinic one of the career of Dentistry compared to students who study clinic five of the career of Dentistry. And in order to determine this relationship, a clinical test, clinical examination of a dental nature, and a psychological test of academic stress assessment were carried out. In conclusion, it was observed that students attending clinics one and five are prone to experience a high level of stress, but it is the students of clinic five who obtained a higher percentage of stress. With regard to the presence of bruxism, it was shown that 52 percent of students in clinic one and 60 percent of students in clinic five had the presence of moderate parafunction.
