Opis
Streszczenie:The inclusion of disabled people is a topic that must be handled responsibly. Society has to use all of its economic, technologic and human resources to fulfill the necessities of the minority. In Ecuador, deafness is a reality that is gradually starting to be acknowledged. Since 2011, vice-presidency of Ecuador carries out the project “Ecuador without Barriers” (or “Ecuador sin Barreras” in Spanish), as a solution to the multiple necessities of disabled people. In 2012, the official Ecuadorian Sign Language Dictionary LSEC was created from this project, which has had a considerable impact and acceptance in schools for deaf children across the country. Nevertheless, it is also imperative to include in this program deaf children who do not learn Sign Language or who wish to learn to speak. In order to achieve this, this project seeks to create an integral system whose objective is to put speech into effect in deaf children, specifically, the Auditory- Oral Educational Approach. It has been applied in every continent for the rehabilitation and education of deaf people with favourable and surprising results. The educational system proposed in this project is a didactic group of resources that prepares teachers, parents and other individuals involved in the education of deaf children, to acquire the necessary knowledge to teach spoken language, and at the same time, they can also be used to directly teach the infant.
