The aim of this study was to determine the presence of hemoparasites in dogs at “Parque Metropolitano de Quito”. In total, 100 animals were sampled and divided into three categories (A: less than two years, B: 3-6 years, C: more than 7 years), all samples were analyzed by microscopy of blood smears and CBC, additionally taking further a survey to correlate risk factors.
