And finally concluded verifying the correct operability of the system performing the test protocol proposed by the manufacturer.La presente investigación propone el diseño de una red de área metropolitana con enlaces punto- multipunto, partiendo desde los conceptos fundamentales teóricos de sistemas de telecomunicaciones y enlaces de última milla inalámbricos. Se realiza un detalle de la forma de seleccionar los sitios de instalación ingresando las coordenadas georeferenciales en las herramientas propuestas para el análisis de cada uno de los perfiles, luego se realizaron inspecciones físicas en cada uno de los lugares determinando el sitio exacto de instalación de los equipos y las antenas, la cantidad de material necesario y las herramientas a utilizarse que luego fueron implementados.
