Is a company dedicated to the design and construction of civil works at a national and international level with headquarters in the city of Quito. The main strategy of the company is to maximize its income through institutional transformation. This means moving from an empirical operation to one that works through project management in order to regulate, supervise and govern all work through the use of technology as the main support. The design proposal of a PMO project office includes all these elements. What is sought is to establish a demonstration project so that the general management has the concrete arguments to request to migrate towards the proposed methodology. The information obtained from the PMBOK, its good practices, knowledge and the global community that is part of the Project Management Institute PMI greatly supports the proposed work. That is why with the use of the knowledge areas provided in the methodology, the determination of the current state of the company, the appropriate techniques and tools, a concrete proposal can be obtained that demonstrates the benefit of the proposed change. The information that the company has is based on a detailed review of its administrative and work documents and has the support of each of those involved in the project, in such a way that the policies, environmental factors and operation of the company are available for this job.
