Riassunto:This paper presents part of the resolution of a global problem, the disappearance of crafts. The industrialized world that is growing so fast, has not allowed artisans to develop and use communication tools in order to keep alive the culture of their ancestors. This project will help artisans from El Cedacero Craft Center, located in the parish of Guangopolo, to reveal the beauty and richness of their crafts, the development of industrial and graphic pieces will allow to convey the essence and cultural wealth of the guangopolense people. The development of a corporate image is a key factor for tourists, this would enable them to learn the artisan. The design of signage, which is a valuable tool for visual communication allows the visitor to easily get to the Artisan Center. The elaboration of packaging allow the craftsman to deposit their work in one piece not only able to keep the product in good condition, but also for tourists to take home a part of the guangopolense culture; visual text animation will make both adults and children to learn about the elaboration of “cedazo”, guangopolense quintessential craft. Development of the website will allow local and foreign people to know the rich craftsmanship of the parish, the communication material will be a tool that will promote the craft Center. The design and development of equipment will help transport and display Guangopolo’s variety of crafts, and finally the lighting manual is essential for maintaining the physical health of all those elaborating the crafts over the base of horsehair. In order for this project to be successful, it was essential the participation of artisans guangopolenses in making final decisions on proposals raised by the designers.
