Also it tries to identify the place where the mother could be located in the discourse of the Other. It takes a chronological travel by the main psychoanalytic concepts from several authors, principally Freudian and Lacanian texts. The research method used is a descriptive bibliographic review by the cualitative approach. The found results, show that femininity could be explained by developing in which the girl become in woman identifying with her mother and taking her father like the new love object, social intervention could influence on the feminity development by the Symbolic. Also the relationship with the other sex and with her mother could influence in the feminity construction The present paper concludes that it doesn't exist an specific kind of perception, but the viewpoint mentioned above could likely intervene in the perception of the woman that becomes mother, the perception is built through the relationship of the person with the language and belongs to the Symbolic order. |

Se describen los principales conceptos que son feminidad y maternidad, la percepción a pesar de no ser un término muy utilizado por el psicoanálisis, es explicada desde la perspectiva de Lacan y se la expone de forma general desde otras áreas. También se trata de identificar el lugar en el que la madre podría ubicarse a partir del discurso del Otro. Se realiza un recorrido cronológico de los principales planteamientos del enfoque psicoanalítico de varios autores privilegiando las obras de Freud y Lacan. El método de investigación utilizado es una revisión bibliográfica de tipo descriptivo desde el enfoque cualitativo. Entre los resultados encontrados, la feminidad puede explicarse como un desarrollo en el cual la niña deviene en mujer identificándose con la madre y tomando como objeto de amor al padre. Se destaca que la intervención social puede influir en el desarrollo femenino mediante lo Simbólico, también la relación con el otro sexo y la relación que la mujer haya tenido con su madre influyen en la construcción de su feminidad.
