| Sumario: | The present degree work has as objective to present a business plan for the creation of a Hotel focused in tourism of health and welfare of Metropolitan District of Quito, in order to offer to the costumer’s relaxation services in which they can reduce stress and improve health. Within the strategic planning, the mission and vision were established of the Hotel Blue Mountain and Spa, and through several studies such as PESTEL, PORTER, and CAME, a better perspective of the positive and negative variables that the hotel is going to face was achieved. For the market study there is a mixed investigation where the quantitative method is found in which 40 surveys were conducted. The client profile is tourists of US, Canadian, Spanish and Colombian nationalities, from 31 to 65 years old. On the other hand, in the qualitative method, it was possible to interview experts within the hotel sector focused on wellness tourism where as a result it was obtained that this segment seeks to have a differentiating experience before other hotel establishments. In the operational plan, all the operation activities of the company were established, within the spatial distribution the architectural plans will be shown with the corresponding measures. It will be divided into three floors, on the first one you will find the lobby, the restaurant and the administrative area, on the second floor you will find the rooms and on the third floor the spa area. Finally, the financial evaluation was carried out in which the amount of the hotel investment, capital structure, initial working capital, salary and sales projection, price setting, breakeven point, NPV and IRR are defined in the which resulted in the creation of the hotel is profitable. |
