Shrnutí:The present research work has as general objective to make a proposal, to increase the rates of profitability of the Santa Cecilia Basic Hospital, it is located in Latacunga city, through the acquisition of disposable surgical clothes, for that reason a database was used to know the current situation. Also. It needed a theoretical basis of all the subjects related to the area of study and finally it was necessary of the financial statements to carry out a financial analysis and this in turn to be projected to verify if the project is viable or do not. Basically the methodologies that were used in the present investigation are the observation and personalized interviews, this helped to compile a series of data and relevant information of the treatment, management that is given to surgical clothing for its conservation and good use in patients and It should also be emphasized that the financial statements were of vital importance, since it reflects the real situation of the institution, all the information collected physical and verbal, it had an adequate treatment to know and understand, due to the situation that is going through the clinic but not buying disposable surgical clothing. In implementing all of the aforementioned, it became evident that the acquisition of disposable surgical clothing is a viable project since the hospital annually would save $ 1.262,76 by purchasing disposable surgical clothing and thanks to this, the hospital will have greater profitability since the expenses Considerably. Finally we conclude that the project is feasible and that the hospital should consider its application in order to ensure the safety of the patient, physician and in itself greatly increase its profitability.
