The project consists of a research integrated of information gathering of preferences and needs obtained from cards made with plus size users, also an interview with an expert of men fashion and finally a field observation of this type of products in the local market. Based on the results obtained and with the support of the theoretical research carried out in the previous stage, proceed to a stage of development, where 3 types of garments t-shirt, shirt and jacket with slow fashion concept were made and also a plus size guide with Ecuadorian measures as added value to the proposal, from the research it was also concluded that as a complement to the garments create the concept of a service that provides a better experience for the users of this product. Subsequently, a validation stage was carried out with a focus group consisting of plus size users, from which the need to redesign the garments was determined. For the final stage, the redesign of the clothing was made based on the results of the validation, providing an improved proposal in terms of aesthetics and function. |
