Lisää tagi | Yhteenveto: | The act of learning and teaching throughout history has evolved as a natural and spontaneous manifestation of human beings. Throughout this time, the bond between the guide and apprentice plays an indispensable role at an intellectual and emotional level which results in the exchange of ideas, proposals, reflections and conclusions that enriches both parties. These kind of events poignantly make architects arrive to the challenge of taking into account all relevant factors pre-existing on proposals for space design, form and proportion; thus, concluding that the job of an architect lies on the undeniable responsibility to contribute to the welfare of many. Due to population growth in the province of Orellana, and especially in the City of Coca, many educational establishments were forced to improve their surrounding spaces in order to accommodate as many students as possible. However, many of the institutions currently count with inadequate and underused spaces, and large areas that do not meet the primary needs required for an educational establishment. The National Government has implemented an empowering project which includes the construction of educational institutions, called “Millennium Schools”, a project that has been successfully replicated around Ecuador. Nonetheless, there are many schools that have not been reached yet. The following project presented below is based on the need to promote greater amount of spaces for social exchange within the city Puerto Francisco de Orellana, specifically in the community residing and that are part of neighborhoods such as March 28 and Perla Amazon. This project also seeks to improve social relations within the community, and above all, empower and raise an enabling and healthy environment for children and young people, throughout he province of Orellana. |
