Beskrivelse
Summary:The following project illuminates an Interior Design intervention within the “San Luis” shopping center in the Chillos Valley, southeast of the Metropolitan District of Quito. The project is developed within one of the commercial premises, and proposes the implementation of an Interior Design of a Center for the Promotion of Wine Culture. The intention of the project is based on the concern about the deculturization and the bad projection that the new generations now have about the consumption of alcoholic beverages. It is well known, the misinterpretation and the judgment that falls both on the product, as in the spaces where it is sold and consumed, and, above all, on users. That is why the need for the project is based on a new idea to cultivate the good consumption of alcoholic beverages, especially wine, and to mark the history, process and magic behind the subject. For this, a spatial transformation is needed, which calls and invites users to use the space and consume the product. Which leads to the implementation of materials that identify with the object, the subject and the phenomenon of space, materials such as wood that express warmth and create a cozy atmosphere. In the same way, the implementation of chromatics is taken into account, based on studies of color psychology, and that complements the design. In conclusion, here lies the innovation of design, and the implementation of spaces that bring culture and knowledge, accompanied by a good glass of wine.
