Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | The interior proposal of Eugenio Espejo Library of the Ecuadorian Cultural House Benjamín Carrión aims the intervention and remodeling of the public areas and the implementation of an interactive historical art gallery. On the one hand, it will intervene in the public areas composed by the reception, administration, consulting area, virtual library, reading rooms and shelves. The goal is to create better distributed and functional spaces for the administrative areas, the areas of public use, for the library staff and the organization and storage of library materials as a comfortable reading room to read, research and consult. On the other hand, it will also intervene in the exhibition area, related to the historic art gallery. The aim is to exhibit works of history, culture, and national and international Ecuadorian writing, also the exhibition of reliquiaes kept in the library, the ones which will provide with knowledge, entertainment and inspiration to the public as well as stand out the historical and cultural features of Ecuadorian society. The area to intervene in the project is approximately 3200m². The proposal consists in the architectural program planning on the functional, formal, technical, comfort and spatiality levels; which is also related with the use of a generator design concept for the intervention. As a result, the proposal complies with everything raised earlier and the concept, the typewriter, integrates all the enclosures and the use of materials, textures and colours. The concept can be seen volumetrically as well as in the interior design and furniture. According to the concept and the architectural program certain areas are prioritized, the circulation was determined and the different spaces are related between each other for a better functionality. Fundamental aspects are implemented like incoming natural light, complementary artificial light, heating, ventilation, air temperature, relative humidity and acoustics. All this has been made to create an ergonomically comfortable space for the public, the staff and for better conservation of library materials. |
