Diseño de una cabina con sonido envolvente para aplicaciones de entretenimiento audiovisual

With the passing of the years and the appearance of recording domestic systems , the audio and visual experience had become a part of our lives, and thus with the option of having theatre in home kits “in a box” or building a devoted space to recreate the experience of movies at home, considering all the related issues. The domestic home movies systems are a relatively cheap alternative but they are not optimal, while the spaces built with that aim are expensive and require an exclusive room inside home for them. This is the reason why this thesis has the objective to design a cabin which reproduces the conditions of a multimedia room, in a small space. We have taken into account the standard norms of industry as the THX and ITU while choosing the elements of the electric-acoustic chain and the video elements, considering the correct position of them in order to reach an optimal standard of quality. Related with materials to build the cabin, we tried to fulfill the right features of isolating and acoustic conditioning for the spaces devoted to the reproduction of the multimedia material. As a result we obtained the chance to give consumers a minimal space with the required acoustic and audio-visual conditions to have an optimal multimedia experience in an affordable price.
