Итог:This bibliographic review constitutes an investigation of 40 scientific articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria on the internal morphology of upper and lower premolars, with the aim of collecting information on the different morphologies that these pieces can present. Over time it has been a very studied topic and there are several classifications, but the one that was most used, and, so far it is handled is that of Vertucci of 1974, in which there are 8 systematizations of the internal anatomy, and, by which, several authors studied premolars reaching multiple conclusions about the variability of internal morphology and which was the most common in each piece. As is the case with the upper bicuspids, the pieces in which two ducts will be presented, in high percentage, and, in the lower bicuspids, only one duct. With the help of the literature we were able to identify and describe the internal morphology that each premolar could present, including special cases where the morphology presented by some pieces were out of the ordinary. It was concluded that the premolars were within the category of the pieces with the most varied internal morphology, especially the lower ones, and that, at the time of instrumentation, knowledge of these variations could be of great help for the professional to offer A successful treatment. Similarly, with the help of technology, the observation of these variations has been facilitated.
