| Summary: | This project involves the evaluation of various international standards for traffic noise, used in prediction of traffic noise software SoundPLAN 6.3, for this form to check which standard is the best suited to the reality of the problem in a sector of Quito. The rules considered in this study were: CoRTN, RLS90, FHWA, ASJ1998, StatensPlanverk and NORDIC1996, which are applied in countries like England, Germany, USA, Japan and Scandinava respectively. For the development and evaluation of this work was determined as area of study Rio Coca Avenue, the same that has a fixed noise monitoring station located in Environment Secretariat (Jipijapa Station), in which EPMMOP placed a vehicle counter in May of 2011. For the evaluation of traffic noise models was performed an analysis between Jipijapa Station and traffic noise model did in the software, the same is based on all data that can provide the sector such us number of vehicles, vehicle type, speed circulating of vehicles, road slope, type of asphalt road and front housing, among others. The analysis of this project were evaluated software prediction models with some situations such us results of the entire month of May, results from January to July 2011, where it was observed general trends of behavior traffic noise on each day of the week. It was determined in the study that NORDIC1996 and RLS90 regulations are the most adaptable to the reality of traffic noise in Quito, according to parameters LEQ24H, LD and LN, the process for to decide these conclusions is explained in development of this project. |
