Etiketle | Özet: | This research was carried out to evaluate the oral health knowledge of children attending the Universidad de las Americas Dental Care Center. According to several studies reviewed it was found that the lack of knowledge that children have about oral health is a factor to acquire poor hygiene habits which has negative consequences for the health of the mouth, which is why the need for Identify in which health issues children have poor information, to be able to reinforce them in every dental appointment that is made and thus raise awareness in both parents and children to guide them towards a path of healthy habits. Among oral health issues, it was considered important to analyze the knowledge of children in oral health, dental brushing, most used hygiene implements, diet harmful to teeth, knowledge of treatments that can be applied to prevent caries and visit the dentist. |
