| Summary: | The present study was conducted to analyze the portfolio of services of the Hotel Federation of Ecuador and satisfaction of its members. The first chapter determines the situation of the federation, the problems and the objectives of this project. In the second chapter is the theoretical framework, where there are concepts about hospitality, associations and federations, as well as the importance of these. In chapter three it’s detailed the method of investigation. In this chapter are all the methods of investigation used, referring to the methods applied to recollect information and the sample top which the survey was applied. At last, chapter four presents the results of the analysis showing what services are important and which need improvement. As well, as which services they are satisfied with and which ones need improvement. Being the first official survey sent, 30 questions were chosen related to the price, overall satisfaction and service satisfaction, communication services and comments. In this last chapter it was of high importance to apply correlation method of variables to analyze the data obtained, which allows developing conclusions and recommendations. It high light that some services have to be monitored and a more thorough study should be developed to generate an improvement plan with the necessary changes achieving an increase of satisfaction of the associates. |
