Резюме:Acoustic insulation in buildings is one of the biggest problems in which residents complain: either by noises produced in the exterior as the traffic noise or the internal noises produced by the adjoining ones. These internal noises can be produced by: the speech or different machines inside the buildings which are spread through the constructive elements like medianeras and forged walls. It is necessary to be able to quantify the level of acoustic insulation to airbone noise in a building, for which it is recommended to apply the use of international regulations such as: ISO regulations and specifically UNE-EN ISO 16283-1. This last one is the Spanish version for the “In situ measurement of the acoustic insulation in buildings and in elements of construction. Part 1: Insulation to airborne noise”. This norm is in force, annulling the previous norm UNE-EN ISO 140-4: for the “Measurement of acoustic insulation in buildings and building elements. Part 4: Measurement in siu of the insulation to the airborne noise between rooms”. The main objective of the project is to compare the standards UNE-EN ISO 16283-1 and UNE-EN ISO 140-4, in order to analyze the results obtained through in situ measurements using a clear, efficient and effective method for the evaluation of measurement data and the expression of measurement uncertainties. To achieve with the project objective, a representative sample has been calculated for the buildings in the city of Quito, so that the data and results obtained through on-site measurements can be statistically comparable and significant. In the project findings, it was possible to determine that the methodology and the procedure to get the samples applying the mentioned regulations affect the global results of acoustic insulation with significant differences.
