Meanwhile, the amount of waste that animal production generates is going up, polluting water resources and causing green gas effects. As consequence, the cattle production has changed the natural environment and has contributed to global warming. Moreover, the safety of agricultural production has been severely affected and the public health is exposed to a constant sanitary risk because of the irrigation of cultivating fields with polluted water with a high concentration of manure and pathogens. Day after day, the exploitation of fossils fuels is more restricted and thus there is a serious concern. This is because of the general belief that soon, the energy resources will be limited due to the declining number of petrol fields worldwide whilst energy demands are increasing.
