Résumé:Since March 4, 2011, the Organic Law on Transplantation of Organs, Tissues and Cells (LODT) came into force. Although it is a law that can create a radical change in this field, 7 years have passed and many problems and criticisms persist in its application. This research seeks to know the real situation of organ donation in the country, the characteristics and problems that this process has. This thesis contains the data and figures that account for the problems of this phenomenon such as: the gap that exists in the country with respect to the Law, the lack of knowledge of the majority of the population on the subject, the recommendations in as to the reform of the same and the lack of specificity on the intervention of the relatives, as for the decision to donate the organs of a dead donor. It also presents a theoretical framework that summarizes the categories and the central concepts to understand the research topic and the methodology proposed for the fieldwork that will have as a central technique the interview. The objective of this multimedia report is to demonstrate the shortcomings of the Organic Law of Organ Donation and Transplantation in its application in the country.
