Sumari: | This research aims to find the incidence of human papilloma virus (HPV) diagnosis and determine their knowledge about the risk factors that contribute to the spread of HPV in women attending the Gynecology Service of the Health Center 1 of Quito, during the months May and June of 2012.The research was located within a quantitative, descriptive, exploratory, prospective and cross. It was developed by collecting data through observation guide applied to daily reports of attention in the referred service Gynecology also a survey of women attending consultation. The study population consisted for women range from 20 to 40 years old. This paper describes the HPV infection that us becoming common in some sectors of society. It is expressed in a clear and precise regarding the dangers of obtaining HPV also promoting better lifestyles, avoiding certain behaviors such as the onset of early sexual activity, multiple sexual partners, at the same time, the lack of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health, as well the need for regular monitoring, preventive and is the pap. The gathering of information, procedure and exposure results allowed to conclude on concrete realities pertaining to HPV in the population studied, and that the onset of sexual relations of the majority was between 10-15 years and form that sex couples have two and unknown risk factors that lead to infection by HPV, the sexual relations with multiple partners; factors together with persistent infections by the virus are precursors of cervical cancer. |
