Plan de negocios para implementar una empresa dedicada a la construcción y equipamiento de piscinas para nado contracorriente en la ciudad de Quito

This document seeks to determine the viability of the implementation of a company that commercializes the construction and equipping of swimming pools against the current in the city of Quito. The execution of the civil works will be subcontracted with civil engineering specialists, the company AMPRO will receive an income for the intermediation of this service between the client and the builder. The turn of the business of the company will be the equipment of the pool based on the countercurrent swimming system, which specializes in optimizing small spaces to build a pool. For this reason, these types of pools are ideal for houses that have a space of at least 15 square meters or real estate projects that are in their construction phase. The target market for this type of pool is concentrated in a demographic segment between 30 and 50 years old with family incomes that are found in socioeconomic strata A and B. The implementation of the financial plan determines that the project is viable due to the fact that a VAN indicator above zero, with a value of 10,103 dollars in the project scenario and 3,596 dollars in the investor´s scenario; the IRR is higher than the opportunity cost and has a range between 18.55 percent and 19.86 percent in the project and investor scenario, respectively. These indicators allow to recommend the execution of the company specialized in the construction of counter-current swimming pools.
