Deskribapena
Gaia:The behavior of the child during the dental consultation has been related to the attitude of the parents, therefore, the behavior that the child is going to present in the consultation depends on several variables among which there is the anxiety of the father of family, as well as Previous unpleasant experiences, one of the most significant being the lack of parental knowledge of the oral health of their children. Why the present investigation was proposed in order to determine the behavior of the child at the first dental appointment in relation to the attitude of the parents or representatives, through an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study, applied to a sample of 73 odonto-pediatric patients they attend the dental office for the first time, observing and recording the child's behavior according to the Frankl Scale, as well as applying a survey to the parents and representatives who accompanied the children that allowed them to measure the behavior of the children, obtaining as a result that Most of the children presented a positive behavior (42.47%) and most of the parents presented a cooperative attitude (45.21%). Concluding that there is a direct relationship causes an effect of the parents' attitude towards the children at the first dental appointment.
