Zusammenfassung:Barley is one of the oldest and most widely cultivated cereals in the world. The present research work was established to evaluate the “Agronomic response of three varieties of brewing barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) under two types of phytosanitary control in Laguacoto, Bolívar Province.” The objectives set were: i) Evaluate the agronomic response of brewing barley varieties, according to the agroecological conditions of the study area. ii) Identify the type of phytosanitary control with greater efficiency in the cultivation of brewing barley. iii) Determine the quality and yield of brewing barley grain. The treatments under study were for FA (Phytosanitary Controls) for FB three (Merking Barley Varieties). The Randomized Complete Block Design (DBCA) was used in a factorial arrangement of 2x3x3 repetitions in divided plots. The type of analysis that was performed was Tukey's test at 5% for treatment averages, correlation analysis and simple linear regression. The agronomic variables that were evaluated were: Percentage of emergence (PE), Days to heading (DE), Plant height (AP), Number of spikes per square meter (NEMC), Spike size (TE), Number of grains per spike (NGE), Leaf spot incidence (IMF), Yellow rust incidence (IRA), Thousand grain weight (PMG), Test weight (kg hL-1), Grain yield (kg), Yield (kg ha-1), Plant Vigor (PV), Growth Habit (HC), Straw Type (TP) and Grain Type (TG). The statistical results demonstrated that the phytosanitary controls were significant and highly significant depending on the varieties, the treatment that recorded the highest average yield was: A1B3 (Propiconazole + INIAP- Cañicapa 2003) with 4797 kg ha-1. In the qualitative variables, homogeneous results were observed in plant vigor (PV) and growth habit (HC).
