| Zusammenfassung: | This research delves into the reality of domestic service, an essential work within homes, but frequently underestimated, that is performed mainly by women around the world, most of whom belong to marginalized communities or those with low economic resources. The fundamental role that the service domestic represents in homes, both its practical function and its emotional and social meaning in family dynamics are essential. However, despite their importance, domestic workers continue to be victims of a series of violations of rights by their emperors, in all forms such as discrimination, labor exploitation, low wages, long working hours and lack of access to protections. social and legal. In this research, key concepts of domestic service will be addressed, examining whether legal regulations and labor protection mechanisms apply to domestic service, and relevant international conventions and national legislation will be explored to evaluate their effectiveness in guaranteeing labor rights. of domestic employees. This research not only seeks to collect information on domestic service and the injustices faced by domestic workers, but also to highlight the urgent need to recognize and value their contribution to the functioning of households and the economy in general. Recommendations are proposed to promote employment equity, ensure respect for human rights, and foster greater awareness of the dignity and well-being of domestic workers around the world. Regarding the methodology that was used to develop this research, the quantitative, qualitative, descriptive, exploratory, non-experimental and inductive methods were carried out, and two types of research were carried out such as surveys and interviews.
