It was concluded that the application of techniques with readings in a comprehensive way is a way to improve academic performance, that is why the proposal of a methodological guide is made, for the strengthening of the reading and writing, towards the improvement of the academic performance, the same that frames the possible solution to the problem. |

Para la obtención de datos, se realizó un diagnóstico a través de una guía de observación, un grupo focal con los padres de familia y una entrevista al profesor encargado del cuarto grado de educación básica de la institución mismo que fueron analizados, lo que nos permitió detectar y adentrarnos más al problema en estudio, para proponer actividades que vayan diseñadas a superar la deficiencia de la lecto-escritura, tomando en cuenta los intereses y necesidades de los niños y niñas. Se concluyó que la aplicación de técnicas con lecturas en forma comprensiva es una manera de mejorar el rendimiento académico, por eso se realiza la propuesta de una guía metodológica, para el fortalecimiento de la lecto-escritura, hacia el mejoramiento del rendimiento académico, el mismo que enmarca dar la posible solución al problema.Universidad Estatal de Bolívar.
