Summary:The popular fairs in the neighborhood of La Floresta emerge as strong points for the development of economic and cultural elements which allow to generate a social fabric at the level of the locality. The study is the same that is responsible for diving into the process for the development of popular fairs which are eventual between the year 20222 and 2023, exploring the economic dynamics, cultural and social ties together with local economic engines. The approach is multidisciplinary since it allows involving the economy and sociology of the economy by studying it at the socio-historical level of the neighborhood in addition to analyzing the evolution that has been maintained in public spaces and cultural and commercial exchange. The study uses tools that allow documentary analysis and holistic data collection of these dynamics. The results show the importance and diversity of processes and products when exchanging a good or service. The importance of this study focuses on the social fabrics that intertwine local cultural identities, promoting the preservation of local customs and traditions. The analysis will also address the impact of the economy within the popular fairs in the La Floresta neighborhood, highlighting their influence in being a source of income for small and large entrepreneurs. In addition, it analyzes the role of the popular fairs within the sector and the processes involved in the creation of public spaces and the promotion of belonging to the residents of the neighborhood. The study contributes to the understanding and integration of market and culture in totally separate urban contexts, but with an economic dynamic that allows understanding the dynamic elements of community life and local development processes.
