Beskrivelse
Summary:The research work called "Use of postharvest waste from flower growers in the Cayambe sector" for the production of pellets and to be used as biofuel, through the proximal, elemental and structural characterization (cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin), of the raw materials, to determine its biomass component of the Rose and Gypsophilia or Gypsophila type flowers) obtaining a relevant value of 23.72% cellulose corresponding to roses, which enables the resistance and conservation of the product. In addition, it was possible to determine the best treatment for the production of pellets. Making it known that treatment 6 a3b2 (Mixture of raw material + content of flowers "without petals and leaves") reached the highest value in Hardness that it can support with 369.65 Newton, this value is due to the fact that the plant cell wall contains an appreciable amount of cellulose, lignin, among others. While treatment 2 a1b2 (Mixture of raw material + content of flowers "without petals and leaves") reached the high value in calorific value with 16.72 Kcal/Kg that can generate a source of energy and heat in an appreciable way that is determined in this investigation.
